Senior Mathematical Challenge
2005–2025. Tick when attempted. Score = raw mark.
Andrew Jobbings Senior Kangaroo
2013–2025 (introduced 2013, so nothing earlier). Score out of 100.
BMO1
2005–2025. Tick when attempted. Use the box for notes — e.g. "Completed Q1, Q2. Struggled with Q3, ran out of time on Q5."
MAT — legacy format
1996–2023 only, i.e. before the 2024 switch to 25 MCQ + 2 long questions. In this era Q1 was 10 multiple-choice parts, Q2–7 were long answer (you'd attempt 5, depending on course). MCQ score and long-answer score tracked separately. Note: 1999 paper isn't publicly available, so just skip it.
TMUA
2016–2025. Each year has Paper 1 and Paper 2, 20 questions each. Raw score out of 20 and scaled score out of 9.0 for each paper.
PAT
2006–2023 (2024 onward went online/MCQ-only and papers weren't released). Note: PAT is scored as a single raw mark out of 100 — it doesn't use the 1.0–9.0 scale ENGAA/NSAA/TMUA use, so that's what's tracked here.
ENGAA
2016–2023 (Cambridge Engineering test, discontinued after 2023). Section 1A = standard Maths & Physics, Section 1B = advanced Maths & Physics, Section 2 = advanced Physics. Each scored 1.0–9.0.
NSAA — maths & physics only
2016–2023 (Cambridge Natural Sciences test, discontinued after 2023). Chemistry/Biology parts skipped since they're not relevant to you. Tracked: Section 1 Part A (Maths, compulsory), Section 1 Physics/Advanced Physics part, and Section 2 Physics. Each scored 1.0–9.0. Exact part lettering (B vs E) shifted a bit year to year — just use whichever was the physics option for that year's paper.
BPhO Round 0
Only started in 2025, so there's just one past sitting so far plus the upcoming 2026 one. Score box takes a number or a sentence — whatever's useful to you.
BPhO Round 1
2005–2025. Score box takes a number or a sentence — whatever's useful to you.
